Ford Performance Parts is heading to this year’s SEMA Show, giving customers a taste of what’s to come and how they can turn their Ford vehicles into a rolling showcase that reflects personal taste, attitude, and love for their vehicle. For the Ford Ranger, the Ford Performance ORV Package takes the midsize truck to a new level and should give some future truck owners some inspiration for their own builds once they get one.
Ford Ranger ORV Concept Package: Details
The Ranger Ford Performance Off-Road concept package targets the overlanding space and will be available on 2024 Ranger XLT and Lariat models with four-wheel-drive equipped. This package elevates the truck’s capability with an ARB overland suspension kit. ARB also provides new front and rear bumpers with additional recovery points. The front bumper, in particular, is quite eye-catching as it features three built-in SOLIS trail lights, skid plates, and recovery points and also appears to function entirely with the truck’s radar system. There is also an onboard air compressor for airing up the tires after time on the trails and a 47-quart refrigerator/freezer for hauling food and drinks to the campsite.
Developed in response to customer feedback, the Ford Ranger ORV package will be available via the Ford Performance Parts website or through a dealer accessory counter. Pricing for the package will be available closer to its on-sale date, while either a Ford dealer or ASE-certified shop can perform the installation. Of course, this particular build is rather basic regarding what it does to the Ford Ranger. Still, it’s an excellent start for anyone aiming to transform their midsize truck into an overlanding machine.
The Ford Ranger ORV concept package also features unique graphics complete with labeling for everyone to know what the package is, along with some squiggly lines at the back bumpers and on the hood, complementing the overall hood shape. Be sure to check this one out if you’re looking to get your hands on a 2024 Ford Ranger and want some inspiration.
