The Ford Bronco has been getting up Jeep’s nose since its reveal in July, and the reborn off-road icon isn’t even in dealers yet. In fact, customers will have to wait until spring 2021 until deliveries of the Bronco even start. And beyond the product itself, Ford has put together a bunch of merch and activities that orbit around the Bronco, such as the Bronco Nation community, and the Bronco Off Roadeo driving school. Naturally, FCA will not give up the off-road crown so easily, and its latest counter strike is the first-ever Jeep Adventure Academy.
Beginning October 2020, the Jeep Adventure Academy is set to take place in select locations across the country, where customers will learn off-road driving techniques from Jeep Jamboree USA instructors. The one-day session will start at $99 USD, and the first ridealong passenger is free. The classes will focus on 4×4 system basics, driving techniques, trail etiquette, vehicle preparation and equipment, how to properly read terrain and challenging obstacles, safety tips and more.

“Off-roading is a rite of passage for Jeep 4×4 owners and the new Jeep Adventure Academy will provide key knowledge every off-roader can use for hitting the trails,” said Jim Morrison, Head of Jeep Brand, FCA – North America. “The new Jeep Adventure Academy underscores the Jeep brand’s commitment to delivering Jeep 4×4 vehicles that provide owners with a sense of capability, safety and security to handle any condition or adventure with confidence.”
Below are the locations and dates of the inaugural Jeep Adventure Academy:
- Holly Oaks Off-road Vehicle Park, Holly, Michigan: October 2-4
