A 2-door TJ with a tan soft top and half-doors makes anybody with a love of the nineties drool. Now, you can bring some of that nineties drip to your JT Jeep Gladiator. As of now, 2021 Jeep Gladiator pickup trucks can be ordered by dealers with the Dual-Door Group package, giving buyers then option for full- and half-doors, much like the Wrangler. These half-doors are made with production-quality materials and factory paint and utilize a soft plastic window that zips into the soft top forming a weather-tight seal and offering easy removal.

Half The Door, Double The Fun

The dual-door group features a second half-door with a soft plastic window that can be zipped into either the base vinyl or premium acrylic soft top of the Gladiator, the material depending on what soft top the owner has.

The Jeep Gladiator half-door accessories are designed to work with features like power mirrors, power locks, blind spot detectors and passive or non-passive entry using the existing hinges and electrical connectors. This means swapping from full doors to half doors can take minutes for even the most novice Jeep fan.

For delivery, the JT Gladiator will come with the standard fully-framed doors installed direct from the factory, with the half-doors stored inside the vehicle.

According to Mopar Insiders, If you want to order a 2021 or newer Gladiator with the Dual-Door Group, you’ll need a few options first before you can add the package. If you’re opting for the Dual-Door with base uppers, you’ll need the black Sunirider soft top and either the roll-up tonneau or the soft/hard trifold tonneau. The base uppers are not compatible with the premium Sunrider top, Dual-Top group or any limited paint colors

For the Dual-Door with Premium uppers you’ll need either Hardtop option or the Premium black Sunrider Soft top and the roll-up tonneau or soft/hard tri fold. Much like with the base uppers, the premium uppers will not work with Dual-Top group and limited paint colors, but is also not compatible with the base Sunrider soft-top.

Jeep Gladiator Half Doors: The Price

As far as pricing goes, I hope you weren’t planning any serious mods right out of the gate because the Dual-Door with base uppers is gonna run you around $4600. And if you’re feeling frisky, the Dual-Door with premium is gonna be close to $5000. Twice what the Base Dual-Door group costs for a 2-door Wrangler.

And you don’t have to be a Blues-Traveller to know you’re gettin the runaround there. But hey, it’s a sure fire way to speed things up when it comes to decking your Jeep out for the summer, when all the full doors did was slow you down.
