The SEMA Show is usually all about going big or not going at all, so in true Ram fashion, going big is what they plan on doing tomorrow, Nov. 2, when the SEMA Show starts in Las Vegas. Along with some other concepts that promote plenty of Mopar aftermarket goodies will be a 2021 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman Big Horn concept.
A Mopar Equipped Truck Bed That Works With You
The real concept truck magic begins with the multi-functional Ram 1500 Outdoorsman bed. The Big Horn comes with a bed rack adjustable to two different heights that will make carrying just about anything long, an easy task. Crab some 2x4s from the hard wear store or slap a couple of canoes up top for a weekend trip and still have bed room underneath.
On top of the Mopar spray-in bed liner protection are two modified Expertec floor-mounted bed slide panels. Each panel can hold up to 2,000-lbs and feature Mopar adjustable cleats that slide to secure cargo. This can make loading and unloading some of the hardest items we tend to put into trucks on a regular basis much easier. Also, designed to make things easier are 2-inch TYRI LED lights mounted at all four corners of the bed rack, with a center-high mount brake light mounted to the rear crossbar.
Another great Mopar feature is the RamGate. You can easily turn your RamGate into a personal workbench. With a concept T-track mounting system, an angle finder, and different conversions charts, basically it’s a portable Ram 1500 Outdoorsman home workbench. And no man has a workbench without a toolbox, so this Ram Big Horn offers the RamBox cargo management system. Placed on the outside of the Ram’s bed is a place where tools can be stored, tow straps, jump boxes, and more. Mopar also adds in featured separators to keep things well organized on a busy day or on fun off-roading trips. Auxiliary outlets are also provided in this multi-tasking RamBox truly making the Big Horn’s bed a multi-tasker.
What Else Makes The Ram 1500 Outdoorsman Standout
The 4×4 crew cab sits on split-spoke Rhino 20×9-inch wheels wrapped in 35 inches of rubber courtesy of Continental tire. A Mopar 2″ lift kit with Fox shocks gives the Ram 1500 Outdoorsman a stout and sturdy stance with plenty of off-road capabilities. Upfront is a custom light bar with four 5-inch LED lights. On each side of that crossbar are Mopar blue towing hooks, which go great with one of the things that probably stands out the most on this Big Horn, and that is the gloss black paint job with high-contrast Mopar blue graphics. Finishing off the Ram look are Mopar lightweight side steps that feature black textured paint to help getting in and out of the lifted truck a safe and easy accomplishment.
Mopar Interior Style With Workhorse Features
The interior is just as stylish as the exterior, with front bucket seats and rear bench seats that include Mopar Blue Katzkin leather side bolsters trimmed in Sydney Grey accent leather. The front and rear seats also feature Alloy-Mesh cloth inserts, and you can’t miss the custom Outdoorsman and Mopar logos embroidered on the front buckets. The center console features a comfy armrest that turns into a useable 12×14-inch workspace.
All armrests on the Ram 1500 Outdoorsman concept come with Mopar Blue stitching, one-of-a-kind A-pillar handles, and front and rear door pulls wrapped with a stylish black Gode-Tex vinyl. Also added are Mopar all-weather protection floor maps to keep your floors from the dirt and grime they probably will encounter day-to-day. One last cool concept for the Big Horn’s interior features is an onboard RamVac vacuum cleaner located under the second-row bench seats.
