Over the past year Ram has highlighted their commitment to the men and women who serve in the United States Armed Forces by way of their Built To Serve Edition pickup trucks. As March gets off to a start, the automaker has just unveiled the fifth and final commemorative model, which celebrates the members of the United States Coast Guard. Featuring two new unique paint colors and a load of model-exclusive touches, this new truck keeps in line with its four predecessors. Here’s everything you need to know about the maritime force-inspired Ram 1500 Built To Serve Edition.

“We owe a huge debt of gratitude to our armed forces and the brave men and women who serve them. These ‘Built to Serve’ models are just one way we honor those who have selflessly served our country,” said Mike Koval Jr., Ram Brand Chief Executive Officer – Stellantis. “Whether civilian or military, Ram truck owners are very familiar with this adage as it’s something we strive to build into every truck and van we produce.”

Drawing inspiration from the Coast Guard’s iconic color scheme, this Ram 1500 Built To Serve Edition model will be offered in both Spitfire and Bright White exterior paint colors. Only 500 examples will be sold in the orange hue, whereas 750 customers will have a chance to take home one of the white trucks. Other exterior tweaks include a unique front facia, complete with an all-black grille and surround, black bumpers and black-bezels around the lights. The package also includes some black badging, wheel to wheel side steps, and dual four-inch exhaust tips finished in black as well. A set of 20-inch wheels in an exclusive technical grey finish, as well as body color fender flares round out Ram’s efforts. The most notable exterior touch comes at the rear of the truck however, where a U.S. flag and “Built To Serve” decal can be located.

Inside this Ram 1500 Built To Serve Edition owners will find an interior made to honor their time in the service. The front seats feature velcro sections that allow owners to attach patches they acquired during their time in the Armed Forces, as well as some unique webbing for mounting pouches and other gear. A”Built to Serve” instrument panel badge is also included, which is complemented by Black Onyx Chrome interior trim.
