THE AZNOM PALLADIUM STARTS ITS LIFE AS A RAM 1500

The Car Comes Complete With A Built In Refrigerator

Say you wanted to experience what it would be like to ride in the Presidential Limousine. Nicknamed “The Beast,” the bullet-proof machine looks like a Cadillac sedan, but actually requires the hearty bones of a GM commercial truck chassis, with an immeasurable amount of fortifications. And unless you’re elected President, chances are you’ll never get the chance to see what riding in it is like. However, you could get yourself an Aznom Palladium, which is arguably the closest thing to it. That’s because this massive luxury limo utilizes the frame of a Ram 1500 truck, but you’d never know it unless you read this article.

The engine powering the Aznom Palladium is a twin-turbocharged 5.7-liter Hemi V8 that pushes 700 horsepower, and pricing starts around $1 million USD before options. Production is limited to just 10 vehicles, and it’s only available in Gulf Cooperation Council countries like the UAE, Bahrain, and Qatar.

That being said, the first customer of the Aznom Palladium didn’t feel that 700 hp was sufficient enough for such a machine. It’s being reported that the team removed the 5.7L twin-turbo Hemi in favor of a larger, 6.4L Hemi (the 392), strapped a pair of turbos on it, and were able to create an 850 horsepower mill for this buyer. All of that power is transferred to all the wheels at all times.

The potent power under the hood is necessary for this car due to its 6,000-pound curb weight. 0-60 is expected to take about four seconds to achieve, which is Ram 1500 TRX territory. The top speed of the Palladium is 155 miles per hour, and with a slightly lower suspension setup with massive 17.7-inch front brakes, this monster can stay in check. The interior of the luxurious Palladium is fitted with a variety of leathers and wood, precisely what you would expect from a vehicle of this class. The rear-seat passengers enjoy a limousine experience with various controls at their fingertips. There’s even a refrigerator.

If you’re disappointed that your Ram 1500 Limited didn’t come with the ribbed leather seats that the Aznom Palladium has, maybe reach out to see if you can borrow some extra materials.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
