The new Whipple supercharger for the Ram 1500 is a 3.0L Gen 5 Twin-Screw Whipple Supercharger that significantly outperforms the competition with 40-50% more power. This number is based on 7psi of boost with 91 octane fuel. In addition, the system comes equipped with billet fuel rails, an HP Tuner RDT tool, PCM and TCM modification, an HP Tuner gateway bypass, Dodge Hellcat Bosch fuel injectors, an adjustable idler pulley, and 3-bar Hellcat TRX TMAP sensor. So, everything needed to get things running smoothly.
The 2019-2022 Whipple Supercharger system for the Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi V8 also mounts to the engine without any cutting, so it should be as easy as slapping it on and heading out. Well, not that simple as the estimated install time is 8-12 hours, but what’s a couple of hours when you have such a significant increase in the engine’s power. Pricing for this absurdly powerful supercharger system comes in at $8,195, which is about what you would expect to pay for a supercharger. That price can increase by a couple hundred dollars depending on the Supercharger Finish you opt for. Yes, you can customize the color of the addition as you see fit. To save time, Whipple also requires customers to add their VIN to the order for a proper SC kit build, so everything is even more straightforward.
