Back in November, Stellantis pulled the cover off of their Ram 2500 Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition model. This jazzed up version of Ram’s HD off-road truck was created to celebrate the original Power Wagon’s military service during WWII, and came loaded up with a ton of desirable features. From unique exterior treatments to an upscale interior packed with tech, this package for the Ram 2500 Power Wagon proved to be quite popular among buyers. According to MoparInsiders, it was so popular in fact that Ram has created a way to keep the package going during the 2022 model year. Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming 2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon Level 3 Package.
2022 Ram Power Wagon Level 3 Package
While the 2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon Level 3 Package is inspired by the 75th Anniversary model, it doesn’t carry all of the same goodies. This is particularly noticeable on the exterior, where some of our favorite bits from the outgoing off-roader are missing. The TRX’s 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels aren’t on offer here, and the unique gunmetal grille treatments don’t appear to be coming to the Level 3 Package either. We will get the same body-color door handles and black tow mirrors, however. At this point, we have no word as to whether or not the Anvil and Molten Orange paint colors will carry cover with the 2022 package.
Things may be fairly mundane on the exterior, but inside is where the Power Wagon Level 3 Package really takes shape. Just like the outgoing Anniversary model, this new package brings a ton of premium options to the table. Up front, you’ll find 8-way adjustable leather bucket seats with heating and cooling features, power-adjustable pedals, a heated steering wheel, an upgraded full-length floor console, and LED accent lighting all around. Passengers in back also benefit from heated seats, as well as some in-floor storage bins. On the tech front, the 2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon Level 3 Package highlights the 12-inch Uconnect 5 Infotainment system, complete with Navigation and Off-Road Pages functionality. A 17-Speaker Harman Kardon stereo system will be included, along with rain-sensing wipers and keyless entry functionalities.
Awaiting A Debut
The Ram 2500 Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition carried an MSRP of $65,250 before destination charges. According to MoparInsiders, the new Level 3 Package for the 2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon should be a bit more affordable. That said, we really won’t know until Stellantis decides to tell us about this thing themselves. Considering the 2022 model is slated to start for HD Ram trucks on July 26th, we likely won’t have too much longer to wait.
