2023 FORD MAVERICK ORDER BOOKS OPEN, CLOSING IN A MATTER OF DAYS

Demand Is More Than Anticipated

It’s no secret that the Ford Maverick is a trendy truck, so much so that just one day after opening the 2023 model year Maverick Order Bank, the Blue Oval sent out an invoice announcing that they would be closing orders in about a week. The invoice was posted on the Maverick Truck Club forum, and unsurprisingly, everyone is amazed at how quickly Ford has decided to close the books.

According to dealer intel detailed in the forum, 2023 Ford Maverick order banks opened on September 15, and the demand is far more than Ford anticipated. The large number of orders they’ve received so far, paired with the retail orders for the 2022 model year, has caused Ford to stop accepting 2023 Ford Maverick orders this week. Ford will provide dealerships with a specific deadline for final retail order submissions. Meanwhile, orders for the Tremor Off-Road Package and Tremor Off-Road Plus Appearance Package have only been made available as of Saturday, September 17. Giving customers that intend on buying those an even smaller window to place their orders.

While the order banks are destined to close in a few days if they haven’t already. The price list, Order Guide, and Packaging Guide for the 2023 Ford Maverick have also been posted on the Maverick Truck Club forum. Regarding product changes, the 2023 Maverick now features Atlas Blue Metallic and Avalanche Gray (Tremor Only). Those colors are replacing Rapid Red and Velocity Blue. Additionally, 18″ Unique Machined-face Ebony Aluminum wheels are now included with the Black Appearance Package.

2023 Ford Maverick Pricing

Pricing for the 2023 Maverick is slightly increasing, but all models remain under $30,000 before options and packages are added to the mix. Pricing is as follows:

  • XL FWD – $22,195
  • XLT FWD – $24,455
  • Lariat FWD – $27,955
  • XLT AWD (Tremor) – $24,455
  • Lariat AWD (Tremor)- $27,955

Opting for AWD on any of the trims with the 2.0L EcoBoost Engine will add $2,220 to the overall price of the vehicle. But, overall, just looking at the price explains why these things are so popular, especially considering that the Tremor package is an excellent off-road option and is available for under $30,000.

So, if you want a 2023 Ford Maverick, you better call your dealer immediately.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
