The move to a mid-engined configuration gave the C8 Corvette some newfound exotic credentials. And if there’s anything that goes hand and hand with exotic sports and supercars, it’s carbon fiber. The Corvette Stingray already offers a few carbon fiber parts like mirror caps, and ground effects aero package is all but confirmed to make a return for 2021, but there really isn’t too much you can get directly from Chevrolet.
That’s where the aftermarket has come in, with Speedkore and RSC Tuning delivering fantastic looking carbon fiber aero kits that seriously ramp up the C8’s aggression. Now, GM tuning legends Nowicki Autosport are churning out a new addition to the carbon fiber aftermarket Corvette parts in the form of Stingray badges.

Specifically, the kit comes with two door badges and a single rear engine and trunck cover badge. They’re made from OE grade lightweight 3K twill carbon fiber, and are hand polished to a gloss sheen with a clear resin. The automotive grade adhesive ensures the badges will stay put without damaging the paintwork, and the door badges are perfectly formed to fit on the unique door crease.

But like all carbon fiber accessories, they come at a price: $495. Still, that price isn’t too far off what other companies are charging for their own carbon fiber parts, and these offer a unique way to personalize your Corvette further. We also are yet to see any other company offer door badges for the C8, let alone in carbon fiber, so you are likely to stand out from the crowd with these on your car.
Nowicki Autosport has also made a name for themselves with quality carbon fiber accessories for other GM models, so this is likely to be just the first carbon accessory for the C8 Corvette. Nowicki’s C7 carbon parts included front splitters, grille and facia inserts, engine cover, A pillars, decklid… the list goes on. We look forward to seeing what cool accessories come to the C8 in the future.
