It seems everyone loves the new Ford Bronco, but the sad reality is many can’t afford it. Luckily, there’s a solution for people dreaming of the Bronco but don’t have the means to get one. It comes from die-cast model car experts Maisto, and although you can’t drive or get into this 1/24 scale model, it could be just the Bronco that some people need in their life. They first teased the model on their Instagram, and have rolled out images of the SUV in multiple colors. Even though the holidays are over, Maisto’s Ford Bronco is a great gift for any car enthusiast in your life. We don’t blame you if that means yourself.

So far, Maisto has shown their Ford Bronco in Cyber Orange, Area 51, and Carbonized Gray. They’re all two door models in Badlands trim, but without the Sasquatch Package. It’s in their Special Edition line of model cars, and features the same great attention to detail as their other models.

For starters, the Badlands badge appears on the side, and the wheel centers have the Bronco logo. As with most Maisto model cars, it looks like the doors will open based on cutlines, but there aren’t any around the hood, tailgate or roof, so those probably won’t move on this specific model, although it would be cool to see them add removable doors and roof like the real Bronco has.

For now, we only have the Instagram posts to go off, and Maisto doesn’t list the Ford Bronco model on their website. They currently have their 2020 catalogue published, so expect the Bronco to be front and center on the 2021 catalogue once it goes live in the near future. We also wouldn’t be surprised to see other Bronco body styles and trim levels get added in the future, as this will probably be one of their most in demand model cars. A larger 1:18 model could also make an appearance.

Keep an eye out on Maisto’s website and social media to see when you can get your own Ford Bronco model car. Chances are it’ll be before the real thing.
