Ford has finally updated the Bronco Build & Price tool for MY22 mid-year options, giving customers the chance to configure a 2022 Bronco Everglades and Bronco Raptor online. Additionally, the update has introduced the HOSS 3.0 suspension system for the Bronco Wildtrak trim level.
Ford Bronco Wildtrak: HOSS 3.0 Suspension Details
According to The Bronco Nation, customers have been exposed to three versions of Ford’s High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension System. Version 1.0 is standard on the 2022 Bronco Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Black Diamond. Version 2.0 is standard on the 2022 Bronco Badlands, Wildtrak, Everglades, and Sasquatch-equipped Broncos. Finally, version 4.0 is standard on the 2022 Bronco Raptor, skipping 3.0 entirely.
With all of that said, Ford has revealed the HOSS 3.0 system as an option on the 2022 Bronco Wildtrak SUV. The new package is designed to enable customers to take on the desert with Fox 2.5 inch Internal Bypass Dampers, the Ford Performance Severe-Duty upgraded steering rack from the Bronco Raptor and upgraded inner and outer tie rods.
Think of the Bronco Wildtrak with HOSS 3.0 suspension as a mini Raptor of sorts. It comes with a more diminutive price tag, too.

Ford has also added a rear stabilizer bar to give customers who opt for this package even more confidence when taking their Bronco Wildtrak off-roading. Additionally, the package offers customers a powder-coated front bumper with tow hooks, front steel bash plate, integrated fog lamps, upgraded steering rack, motor, and tie rods. The revisions result in off-road competition-inspired spring rates and improved on-road and off-road ride and handling performance.
The package is available for an additional $2,515, which is undoubtedly pricey but could be well worth it considering all that it has to offer. Ford has stated that the HOSS 3.0 option on the 2022 Bronco Wildtrak will be available only to unscheduled order holders. The company won’t be building stock for dealers in MY22, and the new option will not be affecting production for those still waiting on another series. Additionally, the majority of 2022 Bronco Raptor production will go to waiting customers.
The addition of HOSS 3.0 to the Bronco Wildtrak is great news and all, but with Ford pausing 2022 Bronco orders on March 7th, that leaves little time to get an order in.
