FORD F-150 FP700 SUPERCHARGER PACKAGE IS LIKE A SECRET CHEAT CODE

Raptor R Power For Half The Price

Ford F-150 FP700 Package

The Ford F-150 Raptor R is an incredible machine with off-road enhancements to take it to another level. That alone makes it extremely capable in races like the Baja 1000, where the truck has recently come first within its designated class. But one of the most significant selling points for that pickup over the standard F-150 Raptor is the 5.2L supercharged V8 engine, which makes a whopping 700 horsepower. That’s nothing to scoff at, but what if we told you you could get a standard Ford F-150, add the Ford Performance FP700 package, and get the same power level for half the price?

Ford F-150 FP700 Package: Details

Here’s what you do: purchase a Ford F-150 with the 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine, which produces 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque on its own. The cheapest way you can accomplish that is by purchasing the XL trim, though you can use any trim for this or even an F-150 you already have so long as it’s equipped with the V8 engine. For a new purchase, the cheapest method will cost $38,390, including destination charges. From there, you talk to your local Ford Dealership or Ford Performance about purchasing and having the FP700 package equipped, which costs $12,350.

For that price, you’re getting a 3.0L Whipple Supercharger, which will bump power from the V8 engine to 700 horses and 590 lb-ft of torque with Premium Fuel. Customers also receive 22″ x 9.5″ Black Machined Wheels, Unique Ford Performance Bedside Graphics, Black F-150 Tailgate Lettering, Fender Vents, a Gloss Black Front Grille, Black Lug Nuts, Rear Lowering Kit, Rocker Panel Aero Delete Kit, and Front Floor Mats. This will bring the total cost of your new supercharged Ford F-150 to $50,740.

Comparing this to the Ford F-150 Raptor R, you won’t have the same epic off-road capability, nor will you have the same amount of torque as the Raptor R has 640 lb-ft. You also won’t have the 5.2L V8 engine taken from the GT500 and modified to be Ford Tough. But, you will save $58,605, which can go into other modifications to build the truck up to suit your needs. Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
