The 7th generation of the Ford Mustang is on the way. Ford vehicle communications manager for Ford North America Mike Levine recently posted a video on his Twitter account showcasing each generation of the Ford Mustang lined up beside one another. Levine stated on the post that there would be more Mustang news to share tonight at 7:30 PM EDT regarding the next-gen. Stay tuned!
We know this won’t be the reveal of the S650 Ford Mustang as Ford CEO Jim Farley confirmed that the big debut would take place at the Detroit Auto Show on September 14. The current Ford Mustang model range consists of the entry-level EcoBoost, the iconic GT, go-fast Mach 1, and the all-conquering Shelby GT500. Up until now, it’s been unclear what trims the S650 Ford Mustang would have for the 2024 model year, but we could be getting some info tonight.

S650 Ford Mustang: Details
The 7th-generation, S650 Ford Mustang will likely be the last muscle car with an internal combustion engine. Its rivals, the Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger, are expected to go electric, or go away entirely.
As for the design of the S650 Mustang, we know that it will likely gradually evolve from the S550 generation we currently see, as seen from the leaked image above. Interior improvements are expected to be more modern, such as larger infotainment screens, a configurable digital instrument panel screen, improved ergonomics for larger phones and drinks, and upgraded materials.
Keep your eyes on MC&T because tonight’s S650 Mustang news will be covered.
