What brings in buyers of the new 2021 Bronco? It’s not just the name, the off road capability, the 1:1 alternative to a Wrangler, but also the J.R.R. Tolkien-sized tomes of accessories that are and will soon be available. Being able to make your new Ford Bronco yours is what fuels people to mod their trucks. And the paint you have, while not a mod, reflects the personality of the owner also. With that said, the 2022 Ford Bronco dealer color guide has been leaked via Bronco 6G, and the results aren’t great if you like variety. Or the color blue.
For the 2022 Ford Bronco, the SUV will allegedly be ditching Velocity Blue, Antimatter Blue and Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat. This leaves nothing but colors on the gray scale, Race Red and Cyber Orange Metallic tri-coat. Thankfully, the playful Cactus Gray stays.
However, something’s off.
Where Is The Green?
Ford Bronco marketers have been very clear that green would join the 2022 Ford Bronco color wheel. Perhaps with the debut of the Bronco Raptor (Warthog?). Teased so far has been “Overland Green,” but at the moment, Ford Motor Company can barely ship out 2021 model year Bronco SUVs to customers, thanks to the global microchip shortage. So while it’s tantalizing to speculate on the 2022 model, it feels like things need to catch up a bit. That includes the updated Ford Bronco colors in dealer order guides.
Yasss! Green for 22MY! But not Filson Wildland Fire Rig Green. Different shade. https://t.co/dDoprEphVo

Jeep Wrangler More Vibrant Than Ford Bronco Colors
Compare the 2022 Ford Bronco colors to its competitor, the Jeep Wrangler, and it’s a no-brainer if you want your car to stand out from the neutral spectrum, Cyber Orange and Race Red notwithstanding. The Wrangler includes punny colors like Gecko (lime green), Chief (military green), Hellayella (yellow) and Nacho (orange). That being the case, we’d love to see Ford turn the wick up a bit when it comes seer sucking hues for future Bronco variants.
