Ram 1500 RHO Ad Campaign

We all knew the move away from the legendary Hemi V8 powering Ram pickups was on the way. Especially when Ram announced that this would be the final year for customers to get their hands on the legendary Ram 1500 TRX. Today, the brand has announced the supertruck’s replacement, the all-new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO. The brand has opted to join forces with actor Glen Powell (“Hangman” in Top Gun: Maverick) as he helps kick off the next chapter of the continued evolution of Ram.

Ram 1500 RHO Ad Campaign: Details

Powell is the new talent for the Ram Truck brand, lending his voice in the cross-channel campaign for the new 2025 Ram 1500, “The Calling.” The 30-second spot focuses on those chasing their calling with the help of a Ram truck. Following the ad, Ram and Powell also worked together to create a second video, “The Convoy,” designed to be a thrilling mini-action film revealing the all-new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO. This video also advertises the brand’s full lineup of off-road oriented trucks, including the Power Wagon, Rebel, and Warlock models.

In “The Convoy,” Powell takes on the role of an action hero who is tasked with making sure the Ram truck convoy delivers exactly what the off-road truck world has been waiting for, and with the newest edition to the highly capable lineup, the Ram 1500 RHO, things are made even more possible. The film also features special appearances by three world-famous stunt drivers, Collete Davis, Tanner Foust, and Rhys Millen, as well as an appearance featuring Ram Brand CEO Tim Kuniskis.

Both “The Calling” and “The Convoy” are viewable via the Ram brand’s official YouTube Channel. Powell’s connection to the Ram brand goes beyond the ad campaign for the RHO, as his character will be seen navigating treacherous storms and relying on Ram trucks in the anticipated summer blockbuster “Twister.”

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
