Dodge has just given the already wild Charger SRT Hellcat the Redeye treatment, giving it 797 hp and a 203 mph top speed. This makes it the fastest and most powerful production sedan on sale today, beating out the existing Charger Hellcat Widebody for the title. Additionally, the Charger Hellcat Redeye, just like its Challenger muscle car sibling, is more than just a power bump. And it gets a few tricks up its sleeve from the legendary Dodge Demon.
To get that extra power, the Charger Hellcat Redeye has a larger supercharger, strengthened rods and pistons, upgraded fuel system and valves, and a revised transmission. Over the standard Hellcat, boost pressure is raised to 14.5 psi and the rev limiter is increased to 6,500 rpm.

The first-ever Dodge Charger Hellcat Redeye gains a number of features to cool the beast under the hood. It gets the SRT Power Chiller system, which re-routes the air conditioning system to cool the engine. Plus, it keeps Race Cooldown from the standard Hellcat. The newly redesigned hood (the main distinguishing factor from 2020 models) improves airflow and cooling into the engine. While introduced on the Redeye, the standard Hellcat will also get the hood for 2021, and gains 10 hp for a 717 hp output.

All Hellcat models also get SRT’s trick performance electronic systems. For drag racing starts, Launch Control helps drivers hold a steady RPM, and Launch Assist monitors torque outputs once the vehicle is in motion to minimize wheelspin and wheel hop. This allows close to 800 hp on the Redeye model to go through the rear wheels alone better than it has any right to do. But if you do want to spin those rear wheels, Dodge has you covered with line lock, which holds the front brakes while letting the rear axle spin for the ultimate burnouts.
Both Hellcat models also get the helpful SRT Performance Pages to view performance data in real time on the standard 8.4 inch Uconnect touchscreen. There are also four driving modes (auto, sport, track and custom) to cater to any situation.
Orders for the 2021 Dodge Charger Hellcat Redeye and standard Hellcat open this fall with 13 bold exterior colors. Deliveries for these monstrous sedans are slated for early 2021.

That’s a whole lot of power under that hood!!! Does it have a parachute to slow it down? I would
hope so! Thank you Sam George, nice work.
