The Dodge Durango SRT is one of the most enjoyable full-size SUVs to drive that money can buy, despite the fact that the family hauler has remained relatively unchanged since its introduction in 2011. Essentially a three row muscle car, the Durango SRT features a 6.4L Hemi V8 engine that produces 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, which shunts the 5,500-pound vehicle from 0-60 mph in a ludicrous 4.4 seconds. Wonderfully, Dodge has unveiled two new appearance packages for the gracefully aging SUV ahead of the 2020 Chicago Auto Show next week.

In steps the Black appearance package and the Redline stripe package, available exclusively on the 2020 Dodge Durango SRT model. The $1,495 Black appearance package is rather self explanatory, featuring mirror caps, exhaust tips, as well as all the badging found throughout the SUV finished in midnight gray or gloss black. For those who are looking for a little extra bit of flair on their sporty three-row, owners can also opt to spec the $1,295 Redline stripe package, which adds a full-length black satin stripe complete with red accent tracers acting as a border. Both packages can be ordered independently from one another.

A 2020 Dodge Durango SRT wearing both the Black and the Redline stripe packages will be on display at the Chicago Auto Show, which runs February 8-17. Both packages will be available for order starting in March, compatible with 10 colors options: Billet Silver, DB Black, Destroyer Grey, F8 Green, Granite Crystal, Octane Red, Reactor Blue, Redline, White Knuckle and Vice White.

While we are eager to see what FCA has in store for the all-new Durango, it is nice to know that the brand is still looking to please buyers of this now long in the tooth SUV. Besides, the three-row SUV just had its best sales year since 2005.
