Overland Expo Mountain West is this weekend (August 25-27) in Loveland, Colorado, and if you intend on going, there are some exciting things to see there. The 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon AEV Level II will be on display, and now GMC has just announced that the highly anticipated Hummer EV EarthCruiser Upfit will also be on display. That means that EarthCruiser has finished the build and removed the tarp.

To be clear, it doesn’t appear that the solar power system for the GMC Hummer EV Overlander will be able to power the electric pickup. So, while you could theoretically stay off the grid for seven days, stopping at EV charging stations will still be necessary. That said, if this does seem like something you’re interested in, the GMC Hummer EV EarthCruiser upfit is expected to be available to GMC Hummer EV Pickup owners in 2024 through EarthCruiser.
