FORD BRONCO GETS AN OFFICIAL OFF-ROAD SUSPENSION KIT

Ford Performance Is Giving Customers The Ability To Lift Their SUV Along The Ownership Journey

As we’ve seen, owners love to accessorize their Ford Broncos. Sometimes it’s little stuff, like extra lights. And sometimes it’s a more high budget suspension upgrade. However, customers would have to go to a third party if they wanted to do so, and that can cause all kinds of warranty problems. However, Ford Performance Accessories has finally added an official off-road suspension kit to to the catalog. And it’s perfect for those who sought out a base Bronco to upgrade along the way.

Ford Bronco Off-Road Suspension: Details

The Ford Performance Accessories Off-Road Suspension Lift Kit is compatible with the 2021-2023 Bronco two and four-door Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, and Outer Banks as a bolt-on kit. However, it can’t be equipped to the Badlands, Everglades, Raptor, or any model fitted with the Sasquatch Package. Both the two-door kit and four-door kit costs $2,100 USD.

Though the system is bolt-in, you’ll likely want to have it installed rather than doing it yourself, as the kit comes with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty when installed by a Ford Dealer or ASE/Red Seal certified technician.

Both kits for the Ford Bronco are the same and consist of Bilstein and Ford OE components, with the shock tuning done by Ford Performance Parts’ engineers. Ford has also stated that the equipment was developed over rough terrain. Meanwhile, the front and rear springs and top mount are borrowed from the Sasquatch Package. Even though the kit was designed for off-roading, Ford promises that it will provide improved ride quality and stance for the Bronco.

While the Ford Performance Accessories Suspension Kit for the Bronco isn’t immediately available for ordering, it probably won’t be long before it is. Though, as demand for the SUV is still extremely high, you’ll still struggle to get a Bronco before you can install the kit.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
