Well folks, the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are almost here, but before Stellantis takes off the wraps on March 11, Jeep has given us some tasty new teasers. They hint at the overall design of the full size SUV and some of the features we should expect. Our biggest takeaway? It looks like it will be very similar to the concept, which is no bad thing. Here are all the details you need to know before we see it for real in just a few days.

Going through the teaser photos on the Instagram post below, this is the more luxurious Jeep Grand Wagoneer. We first get a glimpse of the front end grille and headlight. It’s a lot of chrome, but doesn’t look tacky or out of place on a luxury SUV with a retro twist. Next, the teaser shows off some interior components, starting with some trim that could be a door panel. Then there’s a shot of the diamond stitched leather seats, and the McIntosh sound system. All very luxurious, all very similar to the concept.

Jeep is launching a 2022 Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, both slated to go on sale this summer. The Wagoneer will slot above the all-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L into the full size SUV class, fighting the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon from GM, and the Ford Expedition with a body-on-frame architecture. An extended wheelbase version is rumored, but unconfirmed.

The 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is the luxury offering, competing with the Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator and Range Rover, plus some other segment offerings of the same size from Germany and Japan.

What we don’t know is how different these two SUVs will be, inside and out. Unsurprisingly, from the concept to these teasers, Jeep has only been showing off the more luxurious Grand Wagoneer. The regular Wagoneer could just have different detailing and bumpers, or could be more standalone model, like the gap between the Expedition and Navigator. All will be told March 11, and be sure to check back with MC&T for the full breakdown on these exciting new SUVs.
