New vehicles are tremendously expensive, especially if you were to start shopping around for pickups and larger SUVs. With all of the economic uncertainty that is going on right now due to the pandemic, it was only natural for automakers to start offering some incentive packages like we’ve never seen before. Well as it turns out, there is a way for you to save nearly $10,000 on a 2020 Chevy Silverado.

According to an announcement made by Costco Auto Program general manager Rick Borg, Costco members can now take $1,000 off of the purchase or lease price of a 2020 Chevy Silverado. While $1,000 in itself may not seem like a lot, this incentive is able to be combined with offerings made by General Motors themselves.

Take the Silverado Crew cab incentives for example. Chevrolet is currently offering a $6,000 rebate across trim levels on these trucks, and an additional $2,500 bonus for Silverado Customs with the Max Trailering Package. That adds up to $9500 in savings once you throw in the Costco bonus, which is a decent chunk of the overall MSRP. If a Double cab truck is more your speed, Chevy and Costco are still willing to toss $5,500 worth of rebates your way. Combine this offer with Chevrolet’s 0% financing for 84 months, and you could walk away with a 2020 Silverado at a basement-level price.

The Chevrolet Silverado is the most popular truck purchased through Costco’s Auto Program, which might explain why they are offering this deal right now. Whatever their reasoning may be, we know that none of their customers are going to complain about saving $1,000 on their next vehicle. As if the pandemic wasn’t enough of a reason to covet a Costco membership, this might just make it a must-have for some Chevy customers.
